WolfDen Renovations Ltd. (“WolfDen”, “we”, “us”) is a renovation company based in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, wolfdenrenovationsltd.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

 

What we collect

When you fill out the contact form, email us or call us, we collect what you choose to share: usually your name, email address, phone number, the address of the project, and details about the work you have in mind. If you send photos of your space, we collect those too.

When you visit the website, some information is collected automatically: the pages you view, roughly where you’re browsing from (city or region), the type of device and browser you use, and how you found the site. This comes from cookies and similar tools used by our website platform (Wix) and by Google Analytics.

 

How we use it

We use your information to answer your questions, prepare estimates, plan and carry out your project, and follow up afterwards. We use website statistics to understand how people find and use the site so we can improve it. We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.

 

Who we share it with

We share information only when it’s needed to do the work or run the business:

• Trades we work with on your project, such as our electrical and plumbing subcontractors, when they need your contact details or project address.

• Service providers that run our website, email and analytics (Wix, Google). They store the information on our behalf, and some of it may be stored outside Canada.

• Anyone the law requires us to share it with.

 

How long we keep it

We keep project and contact information for as long as we need it for the project, warranty questions and our business and tax records. We keep estimates and our messages with you for 7 years from the date they’re sent. We keep contracts for 7 years from the date the project is finished, or from the date the contract ended if it was cancelled, so we can answer any questions under our 5-year workmanship warranty.

 

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we’re not required to keep it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
